๐Ÿ“–๐Ÿ“š D.E.A.R. Time ๐Ÿ“š๐Ÿ“–

We’ve introduced D.E.A.R (Drop Everything and Read) time into our classroom each Wednesday, and or has quickly become a special part of the week. The children love bringing in their own cushions to get comfy as they enjoy their books. A few lucky readers even get to relax in the cosy corner, where they can read in extreme comfort.

Math's Fun!

Using ICT in maths makes learning engaging and enjoyable for children. There are lots of fun and interactive websites and apps that help develop important maths skills through games and challenges. The best part is that children are often learning without even realising it!

The 2nd class children were working on Money. They created their own shops and children had the opportunity to spend some money and get change in return!

We have some lovely artists in the classroom!

Sporting Achievements

The girls took part in a tournament at Pearse Stadium, and it was a fantastic opportunity for them to showcase their skills and teamwork. They represented their camogie club with great pride and determination, giving their best in every game. Their hard work and commitment were rewarded as they received medals for their efforts — a well-deserved recognition of their dedication and team spirit.
