The Active Schools initiative in Ireland promotes physical activity and wellbeing as a central part of school life. It encourages schools to get children moving throughout the day, not just during PE lessons, helping to build healthy habits for life. Through fun, inclusive activities, Active Schools supports pupils’ physical, social, and emotional development.
5th and 6th class are taking part in the Active School breaks in association with Croke Park. They are also leading the other classes with their movement breaks also.
